No I spelled it correctly HI BIRD . it is a 2002 250 cc street motorcycle from China , I think. Some guy has one around here and really just wants to get rid of it. I made him an offer of $175.00 now I don't know if I even want it at all. It won't start . It turns over and pops a few time . ( I have not seen it yet only talking with him. ) Problem is bike is 70 miles from here one way. Long way just to look at something . Than if I like it I got to pull a trailer back down. I know I could bring the trailer the first time , would be cheaper with the bike the first time.

John: I would avoid "THIS DEAL", they sell bikes like that @ Pep Boys and there alot of them sitting in garages waiting to get parts. What happens, when you buy the bikes new, warranty says you have to deal with MFG. & that means dealing back & forth with China..........

I clicked on the website link in post #1, and Norton popped up and told me it blocked a malicious image attack from that web site, matches the signature of a known attack. May be nothing or...... better safe than sorry.

Glad you made the right decision....I've spent the past 5 years working in various positions at our local Yamaha Dealership (it's called "Jack of all trades")....we've tried endlessly to assist customers who've gotten stuck with these P.O.S.'s. Even had a Honda Dealership up the Road selling them and he just threw his hands up, as the Mfg'r's would have more excuses for not having parts available.
Stick with Mfg'rs that have established a good Reputation.
