I took the lights off my RSTD before I traded it in as a down payment for the trike build. After they sat on my bench for a year and a half, I put them on the VStar 1100 I bought.

The lights I put on the trike are Joe Florida. I upgraded the controller to get the "brake" feature. No matter what or how your lights are cycling, once you touch your brake(s) ALL the LEDs turn RED...once released, the go back to whatever you have them programmed to do.

Folks do give me room at night!! I still have about 200-300 lights to add. I just need to figure out the routing of the connectors so that they don't get pinched or cut.

It's very difficult to zip tie wires when you are laying on the ground and only have about 6-8 inches clearance. Ever try to zip tie something around a pipe without looking? I managed to do 7 zip ties like that.

Have been trying to upload a short video of my diamond cuts. got it down to 18.4mb but it's still too large. What's the secret to adding a video?

About the video--ask Kevin of DK Customs--he's added a couple of vids to his ride report this time. I can even see them on the gov't puter I'm at.

And, no, I've never tried putting anything on my bike like that. If I even LOOK at a wrench, it breaks...along with whatever I was going to use the wrench on.

DblTrbl, I gotta hand it to you, you have the patience of a saint. NO WAY could I have waited nearly 2 years for my bike to be delivered. But it's definitely time to get the law involved. Best of luck with that.

I actually got it back June 20th 2015 and had it for the summer. Took it back in Oct 2015 so he could finish and repaint... finally had enough and took it out of his shop in May 2016 without it being complete. I have already added a couple things he didn't do as requested and I'm waiting on the last thing to see if I still want it down the road.

I just let Karma do her thing. I think she has already visited him several times. Several folks a looking at a Class Action against him.
As for me, I just want to ride and create happy memories...what is done, is done.
