We are coming!

Kathy and I are coming also. We are camping with our Bunkhouse trailer. How would we itinerary of what and when? :xzqxz:

Beer Run

Since I'll be pulling the trailer, I might as well load the cooler with some local beers that I'm fond of. If anybody else does the same, I'll gladly swap with you.

See you by the pool. CHEERS!

See you all there. ThumbUp

I posted this a few months ago - Still holds, tentative schedule, subject to change due to weather, general consensus, Acts Of God, etc.

We have some planning going on, so this is a very tentative, and subject to change, revision and suggestions, event list:

Sunday, June 19: Folks are arriving, this is a time to meet and greet, unwind from the trip, get settled in and maybe do a bit of exploring the area.

Monday, June 20: Many folks may be still arriving, so Maybe a short few hour group ride.

Self guided riding, shopping?

Tuesday, June 21: Trike games in the mid morning - such as Blind Slalom, Joust, Stop On A Dime, Road Kill Pick Up, Cone and Ball Place and Pick, and others. Any ideas will be welcome. (There will be prizes.) Possible an organized or disorganized ride in the afternoon.

Wednesday, June 22: Group ride. Possibly start out in the mid morning and have a lunch stop. Or start right after lunch and have s destination ride. We are hoping to keep organized rides in the 4 - 5 hour maximum range.

Hot Dog and Hamburger cookout for supper that night.

Thursday, June 23: Last day of Reunion: Ride, maybe have the official cookout Thursday instead of Wednesday, Last day/evening of getting together for story swapping, B.S., telling lies, etc.

Maybe we could have a winner-take-all pool of how many people at the same time can ride bitch on Jr's trike.

:xzqxz:

Any suggestions on events, places to ride, things to do and see are welcome, just let me (Ozarkryder) or Tom (Trikeleader) know. This is all of our gathering, we want to make it as all inclusive as possible.

One more week

AccuWeather forecast looks great, except maybe storms on Thurs. Upper 80's low 90's just what Texans are used to. Excited to meet y'all next Sun. We'll be meeting our friends angelbymyside & Texasrn up there

It's gettin' close and preparations are well underway here.

Weather looks good for Osage Beach, especially to us good ole deep southern boys.

We'll be leaving before the crack of dawn on Sat. morning to beat the heat, humidity and afternoon thundershowers that we're seeing here at this time of year.

We'll be doing a layover that night in Conway, AR, and then on up to Osage Beach on Sunday. We'll be traveling with our friends and neighbors to the rally on this trip. We're both on Gold Wing trikes, but ya'll won't be able to miss his: Bright, bright yellow....bright yellow....LOL

Look forward to seeing folks that we met 2 years ago and having a good time.

Everyone ride safe.

Bring lots of Monkey Butt Powder. Temps will be higher, and the humidity always sucks.

You're just used to that 10% stuff. It rained in Lincoln one time and a girl fainted. They had to throw a bucket of dust in her face to wake her up. :clapping::gah:

Looks like I will be able to make the gathering, planning on coming in Monday afternoon. Hope to see everyone there!:pepper:

We are so very sad to miss you all. Prayers of safe travels said for all of you! Work and inventory prep are getting in the way...

I'm missing you guys and gals! Sorry I couldn't make it, bike in the shop, just my luck. BUT my wife will be there, so she can tell me how much fun y'all are having up there! Ride safe, have fun and post lots of pictures!!!

Was there Sunday thru Tuesday. Had a great time.
Made it home this morning (Wed) and for once, managed to stay out of the rain, although had to wash the bike of all the road slime from earlier rains.

ps. Let's move the date next year to August... I almost got frostbite. :0)

Just made it home, spent Monday and Tuesday with the gang and had to come home today for an appointment on Thursday. Had a great time and had a great ride led by Tom on Tuesday morning and trike games in the afternoon. Most of us had way to much to eat for lunch and with just a little rain I think the group had a good ride.

Thanks to Trikeleader and OzarkRyder and the rest of their crew for the time and effort at the Mid America Gathering.

This was our first time at an event like this, had a good time and enjoyed the area. Thanks again.

Larry

Made it home! A large time was had by all. Met a lot of great people, did a lot exploring. If you have never been to this area you need to make plans to be there next year. There was lots of hanging around the pool, telling tall tales and general socializing at night.Something was said about someone eating all the pudding, but I'm not mentioning any names! Anyways thanks to all the people who made this happen. Hope to see you all next year!:D:D

Had a nice time.

Got home Thursday. I really enjoyed the gathering. Excellent roads and fantastic people. A bit warm most days, but the pool a and a few cocktails solved that.

This was my first gathering.....but won't be my last.

Hope to see some of you in Deadwood next month.

I'd like to throw out a big THANKS! to Tom (Bullet 10, I believe) for the great ride he led us on and the restaurant stop. It wasn't planned that he'd be a tour leader, he volunteered the night before and really showed us some good riding and sights. Nothing like someone local to the area as he is to showcase the best roads and eating places. Thanks again, Tom.
