Well, I can't watch all these Texans head north and leave me here. So, I booked our room for the Gathering. Arriving on the 19th, leave the 24th.

Hey Dennis, welcome to the club. Shoot a PM my way through this web site with your email address. I have a group thing set up for emails which we are going to use to get everyone coordinated as the time gets closer. That just seems to be a lot more efficient and faster than trying to work through these postings. It also ensures that everyone is on the same page. Well, we have a problem with Jr because he reads slow, so when you send something to him you need to write slow...:cxtv: I might already have your email address but please send it to me anyway to make sure I have the right one. If it's OK with you, I will add you to the email group, then you will have the same info as all the rest of us.

Right now the plan is to have a big meetup at Jr's house. We will stay there until all the food and liquor are gone, then we will head north. Jr said no problem, it won't take long.

This is all going to be pretty informal so just wear your fun clothes and be ready for anything. Glad to have you with us. epper:

Going to try and make the trip

Have never been to one of these. Going to try and make it I had back surgery in 2014 and leg surgery in 2015 Now It all depends on my wife if the shots in the hip work we will be there if not she will be getting a new hip about that time It about a 350 mile trip and we have a place to stay

Go back to the main Forums page. Scroll down to the TOI section, then click on Mid-America Gathering. When that comes up you'll see two threads. One is this discussion and the other is registration instructions. Click on that one and it will tell you how to go about registering.

Do you know why I named it the "Angry Bull"? Well think about real 4-leg bulls, they are big, they are loud when aggressive, have an attitude, they start quick and are very fast (for the first 100yds) crossing a field after someone or something! After that first 100yds, those real bulls run out of gas, well my 3-wheel bull runs out of gas after the first 100miles. So I will need to make some quick "pit stops" to keep up. My bull might be big, quick, fast, loud, and yes it has an attitude sometimes......but he sure like to graze on grass/gas a lot!:AGGHH:

Funny Story

Last weekend, my 50
year old single daughter was in Dodge City, KS. She spotted a guy on abrand new Spyder. So she was cruzeing beside him to check out the Spyder. He had gray hair and flip flops on and he noticed this woman kept stairing at him and he was flirting with her. She wanted to shout at him and tell him to put a helmet on and that she was checking out his Spyder---Not HIM !

We have some planning going on, so this is a very tentative, and subject to change, revision and suggestions, event list:

Sunday, June 19: Folks are arriving, this is a time to meet and greet, unwind from the trip, get settled in and maybe do a bit of exploring the area.

Monday, June 20: Many folks may be still arriving, so Maybe a short few hour group ride. Self guided riding, shopping?

Tuesday, June 21: Trike games in the mid morning - such as Blind Slalom, Joust, Stop On A Dime, Road Kill Pick Up, Cone and Ball Place and Pick, and others. Any ideas will be welcome. (There will be prizes.) Possible an organized or disorganized ride in the afternoon.

Wednesday, June 22: Group ride. Possibly start out in the mid morning and have a lunch stop. Or start right after lunch and have s destination ride. We are hoping to keep organized rides in the 4 - 5 hour maximum range. Hot Dog and Hamburger cookout for supper that night.

Thursday, June 23: Last day of Reunion: Ride, maybe have the official cookout Thursday instead of Wednesday, Last day/evening of getting together for story swapping, B.S., telling lies, etc.

Maybe we could have a winner-take-all pool of how many people at the same time can ride bitch on Jr's trike. :xzqxz:

Any suggestions on events, places to ride, things to do and see are welcome, just let me (Ozarkryder) or Tom (Trikeleader) know. This is all of our gathering, we want to make it as all inclusive as possible.
