Late nighters---unite!!!

Maybe he's figured out how to use bitchin betty and hands free. I sure haven't. All I ever get is, I don't understand or Sorry, I can't do that while you are in the car. Irks me to no end.

Scott,
Just curious, how are you posting if you're driving a truck? Certainly you don't post and drive!
Fortunately, I have no idea of what your workplace is like
We don't have to keep moving constantly. We have to make so many trip per hour around the place. There's two of us and we take turns. I won't say I get a LOT of time sittling around, but I get enough to make a post here and there. ;)

Good to see you posting again, btw.

Every day living is better than the alternative. Time gone is time lost so enjoy and savor every moment to the end. Attitude delivers it's vision, but you know that already so I'm simply rambling.

PM'd Zook to find out how he's doing....he said they are in a real mess. The flooding took everything downstairs except a few valuables papers, and pets that they saved. He said the only thing they have is his daughter's bedroom suite and her clothes. Other than that, they had to go to walmart to get some cheap clothing to wear.

Through it all, he has a great attitude, saying it could be much worse. I don't know if I could be that way.

Everybody, keep him and his wife Marge in your thoughts and prayers. He said he believes in the power of prayer, and would take all he could get.

</div>Yes, you're absolutely right. My little girls are getting less little every day, and soon they'll be all grown up. I need to take as much time with them as I possibly can. Same with my wife. Time is a fleeting thing that stops for no one.

The experience of a flooded home is disheartening. It is a difficult time that disrupts routine and comfort to say the least. My prayers have been with his family from the onset.

Yes it is. Down right sickening really. It's extremely easy to get so depressed that it affects your health. I'm not sure if it's any worse than being robbed but it might just be. I only had two inches of flooding once and it was a real pain to deal with. I'm sure we are all praying for Randy and family. I know I am for sure.

Speaking of moving, how is this affecting your FitBit?
Need to go out and run beside the truck?

Not so great. Haven't made my goal the last two days. I really do need to step out and walk circles around the truck about every 45 minutes.

Probably won't, but I should.

Started a thread about giving donations to Bazooka after the loss of the contents of his home after flooding. Check it out....

http://www.triketalk.com/forum/threads/33115-Let-s-help-the-Zook-family

There is a donate button at the top right hand of the screen that allows you to leave money for him. This is usually for support of the forum, but any money left can be earmarked as a donation towards his family's loss. If everybody on the forum were to just leave 10 bucks, that would be a big help for them considering the number of people that are on this forum.

I I say we all band together and help him through this. He's been nice enough to give us this great forum, I say we pay him back in his time of need.

Well, it's the 14th of June (barely). Time to wish Scott a HAPPY BIRTHDAY. :pepper::clapping:

My internet is about out of gas for tonight, so I can't bake you a cake. :vxtyaq:

Best wishes and hope you get to enjoy some fried chicken. ThumbUp

Thanks Bill!!

Don't really have any plans at this time. Don't know if I'm going to give her a pass on the chicken and choose to go out for dinner or not. We are thinking about having a very small pool party tomorrow evening (just the 4 of us).

Sleep well, my friend.

Saw this post, looked at my wrist, and DANG IT, I forgot my fitness band at the house. I had it off and was charging it, then forgot to put it back on. I'm in a unit tonight, and I'm missing out on a LOT of steps.

It figures.

Thanks to ya!

Thus far it's been very enjoyable. Went for a swim with the family, and right now my wife is frying chicken and fixing her homemade mac-n-cheese! She has already made me a strawberry shortcake trifle that looks and smells soooo good!

The mother in law is coming over to join us for supper. Should be a great meal!!

Birthday dinner

Scott, a friend of mine also has a birthday on the 14th. Since we're only 4 days apart, we frequently celebrate together with a dinner. Our wives took us to a Japanese Steak House this year. Great meal and entertainment! My third Kirrin Ichiban was in your honor. :clapping:

Glad you enjoyed yourself!!

Triked into werk tonight. Any day on the TG is better than any in a cage.

The thread is faltering...help me keep it going guys/gals.

I really need some wind therapy myself. Just can't do what I want to though due to commitments at the house. I have way too much work to do, and that leaves little time to ride. I usually only ride to work and back, which gives me about 10 miles round trip.

Sometimes on the way home, I cheat and take a longer route home. I try to give my about 10 extra miles. It's better than nothing.

Okay Clint...Just went back and looked at your pics. That is a really cool looking linkage. In fact, the coolest I've seen. And I've never seen a peg for a brake pedal. That gives it a real custom look just by itself.

Ness really knows how to customize a machine. Money, money, and more money is all it takes with his ingenuity. Nice :D

Tell me about it...

On another note, I wanted to thank you guys for giving to Randy and Marge in their time of need. They weren't going to ask. I took the prerogative of asking. Hoping I didn't overstep my bounds doing so.

So far no hate PMs from Zook, so he must be okay with it.:D I just hate that had to happen to them.

Total cost on the whole thing wasn't too bad. I paid $230 for the 1" shorter Ness Retro brake arm,$60 for the pair of SMT Machine brake & shifter pegs, and $55 for the Kury solo shifter. I sold the H-D deep cut heel & toe shifter for $80 and the oem Streamliner brake pad for $20 so I'm only into the new parts for less than $250.

Thank you so much for doing what you did,Scott. It is so appreciated. Randy and Marge are family and deserve our help.
