Bought a 2013 Tri yesterday with 1028 miles over $7000.00 in Crome goodies + extended warranty until May 2020. That's the happy part the almost part is it seems to put off to much engine heat.
My question is how much would doing a stage 1 help? What else should I do to cool it down.
Thanks for your advice.

True duels cat-less, ''And'' a stage one.. Thats what tamed the heat on my 11 T/G... But like they say ; Your results may vary.....

Congrats on new ride.
Not sure what has been done to your trike yet, assume it is stock with that said what are your plans for trike to just get rid of heat or get more performance.
To help reduce heat stage 1 and decat will help .

I'm a cheap bastard. All I did was add a set of crotch coolers (Capt. Itch sells them) and floor board extenders(they really help the most). That's it and for very little cost.

Besides I have a high heat tolerance, so what's hot to some people is not hot for me.
I have never and will never modify my engine/exhaust system. ThumbUp

After reading a lot on engine cooling fans, I may look into a set (probably Love Juggs) - maybe. Only to help engine longevity not for personal comfort.

Congrats on your New to You Tri-Glide!

Not all Stage I's are created equal. Most have some effect, a good one has more.

Here is a LINK to an article on how to Cool Down Your TG.

In addition to actually cooling down the engine, you can reduce the heat you feel by getting some Floorboard Extensions. They also make for a more comfortable ride. See details on them HERE.

I installed a stage 1 air cleaner and removed the cat from the stock pipe. My breather was getting hot enough to melt the nylon thread in my pant leg seam. Now it stays nice and cool. Probably the best thing I have done to the trike.

Did the same as above to my 2013 Tri-Glide! :clapping::clapping:

Stay off the crapper

Lol, reading this reminded me to order the floorboard extensions from Dennis. Amazing what all I can do sitting on the loo.
