First Bike Night of the year for Mary & me...more trikes than ever

Tonight we rode the TG down to Beale Street. Every Wednesday it is "bike night" down there until sometime in October.

We try and go a few Wednesdays a month. We have a bit of a routine. We park in front of the Rum Boogie Cafe, sit at one of the sidewalk tables and have dinner. We're usually just 15-20 feet away from the bike or trike, whichever we have ridden.

Not only do we get to watch hundreds of bikes ride by, we watch thousands of folks walking by, looking at the bikes.

We've been going to the Rum Boogie since the early 90's and on the Tri-Glide since 2011, so we've seen a lot of change over the years.

Tonight there were far more Trikes than in any previous year, and more surprisingly, there were at least 5-6 times as many folks that stopped and took a serious look at the Tri-Glide than just last year. Interest in trikes is growing at an exponential rate. :)

Amazingly I did not think to take a pic of our TG tonite. However, I did get a pic of this V8 Trike.

Hope y'all are having some fun riding!

Here in southern Ohio we go to a weekly bike night at a restaurant called quaker steak and lube. On really nice nights ther will be 1200 motorcycles on a Thursday night.
