Starting 2016 camping in Texas Hill Country

Hi all,
We just completed about 1600 miles driving and are getting settled into our camp site at Medina High Point Resort, Medina TX, for a month of relaxation to start the year out right. Haven't unloaded the trike as it's raining today so it's staying in the garage on the camper for now. Will post pictures as we get out and about.

I'm heading south late Feb. Most likely to Lake Charles, LA. I have been thinking about the TX Hill Country and Las Cruces, NM though.

Well everyone, I finally found the cord for my camera so I could get the trip pictures onto my computer. I want to extend a big Thank-you to three forum members - jjvw for recommending the Medina Highpoint Resort campground and Goldrush and LadyonaMIssion for being our tour guides when we first arrived at the campground. We took a lot of pictures so I picked on a group to show a bit of where we were and what we did. If you want to see pictures of the campground they have a Facebook page with lots of pictures too.

Here's the first 10 pictures showing when we left the snow in Rochester, MN through our first pictures of the trip. I'll post more in the following this post.

Glad you had a good time. I was already hearing stories about you guys from my friends. Saw many of them in your pics. To bad we couldn't meet up, but we are enjoying the beach in Port Aranasas. Looking forward to being in the hill country Feb 18 - Mar 18.
