What are you doing right now

Have a speedy recovery, enjoy your time off from work and spend time on the computer with us.
I cannot wait for the job at Big Lots to end, its seasonal work. Called in that I'd be a bit late as I was not feeling well. I like the late hours not fond of the early shift. Thinking about using the garage at the apartment for minor motorcycle repair work when the time comes.
Just on the computer seeing what I missed and made a stop here to chat a bit.

Getting ready to mail back the HD Trike repair manual I got, along with 2 others. Seems that if you use the trailing letters "ES" it is in Spanish. Dumb ass me had to order it to see what it was rather than inquire about it. The best part it cost $17.00 to UPS it.

"Stop and ask directions, what for I know what I'm doin". Aggggggh

Just finished wrapping the Christmas presents for the"Queen".

I had to lock myself into my shop to do this for "security reasons". Not to my surprise, I hear the "Queen" try open the locked door. So I told her I was busy wrapping presents and needed privacy.

She replies sarcastically something like this, " Oh sure you are!!! I bet you are wrapping something else!! Are you looking at that internet stuff again?":AGGHH::busted:

Christmas with a loved one may never be the same.

Just got my marching orders from the wife, As to the schedule for today and tomorrow...
Which i already forgot.....:gah:

Getting ready for the family get together for Christmas Eve. We exchange presents with the kids and grandkids on Christmas Eve so they can enjoy Christmas Day at their own homes.

We are planning on going out for Chinese tomorrow with some of our riding crew like they did in "A Christmas Story" after Ralphie got his Red Ryder BB gun. We did it last year and had a blast. Going to be warm enough to ride the trike tomorrow for the get together!!!

We're getting ready to go out for Christmas Eve dinner, kinda a tradition since we retired, we're heading to the Bonefish Grill at 5 o'clock.

Goin to my bros for traditional dinner, no 7 fishes, just prime rib. Then spending the next few Saturday's getting this place back to normal. Still trying to figure out what normal means !

Normal: ABnormal, as a famous actor once said about a brain..
But, if you have children..grandchildren..there is NO normal at Christmas time! Your house looks like a train wreck, till the children stop playing with the boxes the presents came in, then you can get the house back to where you can walk without tripping over "stuff"!
Dinner time comes and goes, then the adults will rest, if possible, but the children will continue to play!
So, what is normal at Christmas time? LOL
Rosy

Alright Rosy, time to slow down on the eggnog. Diannes family just rolled in, so kids galore for Dianne to play with....if their noses come up for air out of various electronic devices.
Super windy here in Vegas. Probably same for you in NM.

connie and I were over to our oldest sons for dinner and laughs
we gave grand kids cash for x-mas and we wrapped in cash,,,they loved it-they even saved the wrapping paper!!!ThumbUp

Singing the little diddy; Rain 'Rain go away , Come on back another day...
Thats the problem the rain keeps on every day....:gah: And still another 4 days predicted. At least the temps are in the 50/60 range.. As they say in Brooklyn;
It could be Worster...

The rain? Fuggedaboudit. Enjoying the clear air here in Vegas. Good news? The rain will be gone from east coast....just in time for me to get back from vacation.

After weeks of above normal temps, now wet, blustery, and miserable. One of the son's is NOT happy - he took this week off to do some riding and the weather turns crappy and cold.

Anniversary

We are spending the whole day celebrating our 47th wedding anniversary !!! :wave4::wave4:

Our annual tradition is for me to give her a dozen long stem red roses and she takes me out for dinner at the restaurant of my choice. (Longhorn, this year.) ;)

Watching my wife make up some cabbage rolls.

Strange, that was the new year eve dinner here, with garlic mashed taters. :clapping: Did you know enough just to watch?:AGGHH:

Thank You.
Yeah, I got me a good one. I tell everyone "she's given me the best years of her life, both of 'em". The swelling usually goes down in a day or two. :p

Dinner was great! We got take out boxes and had lunch the next day. It was still good.:)

Nah. I know a lot more than that. She said it was basically a "one woman job", which excluded me altogether.

But, in a lot of cases I'm just in her way. Especially with a meal there's only a couple of items to make. She moves around like a whirlwind and gets ticked at me when I'm standing in her next 'place to be', if you know what I mean. :AGGHH:

Was informed that xmas stuff was getting put away, so hang around. Putting the 4' tree back into the box should be easy.
