Light tint... Clear will never stay unscratched..... you'll need to wax well also..... to make them easy to clean and not show as many dings.... you want them slick so stuff will fly by.... I also use a product called REJEX made for aircraft finishes.... twice a year application.. order online... http://www.rejex.com/ they also make other great products!!

I put all Baker Clear Wind Wings (mirrors, fairing and trike leg wings(larger then reg ones) on my white Champion when I bought it new in 2006.
Cann't tell they are on the trike and still look like brand new.

Mine is a 1999 model and the trike kit was installed in 2001. Unit has over 95K miles on it and the clear baker wings are still as nice as they were new. Mine does have the etching on it which makes it a little more difficult to clean. Love them though,

... by the way, NICE looking Trike!!

I have light tint on mine. They are just dark enough to see that there is something there and not bump in to it. I think whatever you decide for you is what is best for you, after all it is your motorcycle.

Beautiful trike Karen, I thought you'd never find what you wanted but you did find a Motor Trike Razor so congrats, its very nice. I personally think the clear would look super clean and neat on your white trike, but the light tint would look good too. I vote for clear.

I think at least the light smoke - just to tie the dark colors of the seat and tires together to help with the overall flow of color.

Good luck - whatever you decide you're going to love that trike - it IS sharp!

Now I Remember....

I have had dark smoke on for so long I couldn't remember why I replaced my clear ones. One of the recent posts reminded me.... I kept hitting them. After replacing two pieces I decided to go dark so I'd notice them. It works I guess because I have not broken one since. I don't know if Missouri Charley was around when you joined TT Karen but he had a white trike with light purple trike wing. It really looked quite nice. Point is: any color other then clear will make a statement if you'd like one made...

BTW -- BEAUTIFUL TRIKE !!!!! :xszpv::xszpv:

I like the light smoke for the same reason some of the others mentioned. Be sure and get the new generation wings when you decide on the color you will love them.

I know you are looking at clear or light smoke, but I'm thinking that the dark smoke would look sharp!!!!!!!

You just have to be different.....ha

Thanks to everyone for your opinions. I do wish I had one of each to compare. I like the way the trike is clean looking, I hope in time to change out the yellow lights in the front and there are a few. I'll order after xmas, then post pics. But if anyone finds a pic of a white trike with them please post here.

Karen

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone
