Have a "demo" reach seat for my 2013 Tri-Glide from the HD dealer...want to see if that seat will work instead of stock seat...puts me forward so I'm sitting straight up and not hunched over the handlebar grips/levers. Put the reach seat on the trike...measuring the seat capacity and looking at my butt, thinking that can't be comfortable :AGGHH:....anyone else have the reach seat on their TG.

I have severe stenosis in my lower back..had a cortisone shot on 10/12....so far, not much improvement. Have not been riding since the 12th.

Thanks.

Barbara, see if they have a Road Zep demo seat and give it a try. Mine is one of the older 3 bladder styles, but it sets me up about an inch and forward slightly and the seat itself is one the backside will love.

I too have the same problem with my hip and also Brusidous (arty in the shoulders). I started out with the seats, no fix. After riding some Trikes with higher and farther back Handlebars, this is the way to go. You may want to look at Handlebars sitting you back into a nice Back rest to relieve your problems.
just my 2 cents worth of investigations...............:Coffee:

Thanks to both responses! Handlebars were considered....the dealer owner suggested the Reach Seat first (surprised).

May need Bars also!

Changing one only moves issues good luck bars cost is not bad unless you have to have installed
