Black-Out progress thread - (pic heavy)

I wanted to get a thread going showing the progress my new TG is making on shedding it's chrome so here goes!

Day 1 - Just got her home!


The day before saying goodbye for 3 weeks riding to Eureka Springs AR.


My 1st visit to HD to check progress -

And what she looks like on 7/10 - almost done!



Headed to HD shortly to talk to them about the Boom! Stage 2 setup and see if I can get some pics of her up on the lift

Yeah nearish future on paint and wheels.. just haven't decided on what route to go. Honestly haven't found too many places online specifically offering Trike wheels so haven't had a chance to look at much!

The one picture that shows your inner fairing I was amazed how little there was in the fairings now compared to the older models..

What are you thinking;powdercoated in black or different color (Guncoat Gray or Titanium) or chrome? Right now,I think your trike has a nice mix of black parts but blacked-out wheels might be a little overkill,IMO. Performance Machine makes a few nice wheels and stock chrome wheels from Willy Shiny w/billet center cap would look good. The TriGlide wheels are a 4x4.25 bolt pattern,though not a common bolt pattern anymore,can still be found in many styles. I found some cool stuff when we were considering the purchase of a Freewheeler.

I'll definitely be going with a contrast-cut wheel and so far, these are leading the pack -

Those will look good,Mix. If I were going to go with PM,the new Supra wheel would probably be my choice.

Just to be clear Mixitman....I'm gonna power coat my "TriGlide" front fender emblems and tell everyone it was my idea.....I'm just sayin'......
