Sheep Skin Seat Cover

I have a sheepskin that I use in cold weather that helps with comfort a lot. Butt in hot weather I use wood beads. It's almost like a/c.

I had one that was short hair and tailored to my GW. I think I got it from Alaska something.
I sold the GW. My cousins GW had over 140,000 miles on and his seat was wore out, you know splits etc. I gave him mine to use. Around a week later he calls and thanks me for the cover. All he said was I don't know why I haven't gotten one already. It keeps me cool, the seat doesn't get hot in the sun but it does hold a gallon of water if left in the rain. The short hair doesn't look all that bad.
If you decide to try one make sure it has no seams in the seating area.
I also like the beads in the summer months.

You think the beads would work with an airhawk? I've been telling myself every summer for over 10 years to try those beads. But I've been using an airhawk for the last few years and won't be giving that up. :)

Kevin, my son has an Zeppelin seat pad. This last year we were gong thru the Salt Lake City area. The temp. was over 100. We switched seats. My Son did not want to trade back. It cost me maybe 15.00 to make. I really believe for that price, You need to try it.

I have a white one for my trike and my wife has a black one for hers and here in Florida they are a good addition for your butt when it gets damn hot. never got it wet so i cannot comment on that but like it and will continue to use it.

Sheepskin seat covers? Isn't it a bit hard to ride?
