:Coffee: I just picked up this Battery Minder charger and de-sulfator off e-bay for 24.00.

I was bidding on one just like it and the bid got up way over the cost of this one buying it direct and the other one had a $12.00 shipping cost as opposed to a $6.00 shipping charge for this one.

:laugh:I gotta wonder why someone would pay $60.00 for the same item and thought they got a deal winning a bid?:Shrug:

I used to get five years out of a battery and now it seems I only get a season or two. I bought a good highly recommended battery at the beginning of last season and I hated bearing the cost. Maybe this will be worth the money I paid for it?

Been using a maintainer for a long time on several bikes. Even though Battery Tender suggests to replace a battery every 5 yrs, even using their product, I'm going to see just how long mine will last! It's now on it's 9th yearepper:

This is a battery minder, I discovered more than on model. This one can do four battery's at once but it's not capable of a jump start.

Im old school Harley Davidson and just cant force myself to not put my old tour glide ultra in mothballs for the winter.

its about 50 degrees here today and lots of folks are out on their bikes, it's not worth it to me just to turn around tomorrow and put it back in bed with all that entails for those of us who are old school.

I figure maybe at the end of march and then the riding will be scanty at best.
Even if the temps rise we will still deal with hellasious winds and wind is unreal in the spring for Wyoming.
Everyone on the country thinks 80 mph. gusts is a reason for panic but we live with it way more often than I would like?
Surprisingly enough today isn't that bad but I doubt you would want to get out of town where there is nothing but a few strands of barbed wire to slow the wind.

I put my trike away for weeks at a time in the winter and when I do I try to remember to put the battery tender on. I made it easy to put the tender on, I added remote battery terminals on my trike right after I got it (Stallion in the trunk). The battery tender I got had a short lead wire that came with it and it makes it easy to use. I think it helps my battery last a year or two longer.

I have one myself. I forget what it calls that mode. Has a selection for different types of battery's. It works good. It saved me a tractor battery.
