Not my turn to watch Bandit Rosy. Not sure if I'll have a chance to sample any more of his u turns before next year.
We've been super busy since we got home. Both at work and chasing after the grand kids. We hope to get one more long weekend vacation in before it gets too cold. Think we are going to toss a coin, the boss wants to go to Nashville and I'm leaning towards Maggie Valley. Either one will be nice this time of year.
Enjoy the Fall.

Kwputt, are you thinking of the Snowbird Rally, hope you can make, maybe we will see you there.
This weekend in NH, it is going to get to 80+, WOW, a short summer coming up. Maybe we will hit a Fair and go see the horse/oxen pull, and have a fry dough/sausage w/peppers/onions sandwich! Last year the fair we went to, it was spitting snow...BBRRRR!....
Which ever place you make it to, let us know how it went and maybe a couple of pictures. Have fun and be safe!

Rosy unless things change, March 5th is supposed to be my last day. I'm trying to make my exit with 0 days vacation. I have three elected officials as bosses and they have asked me to stay two more years. I currently get 20 days with a 10 day consecutive limit and I thought it only fair to ask for double that amount if I were to stay. Now it's wait and see.

Morning all. Just drove a really hairy road from north shore to south shore in Puerto Rico. Would be great on a bike/trike. Mega hairpin turns. PR-10 to PR-123 to PR-10 again. The middle section is the twisty one. Be aware of rain forest rules. I.e. Always wet.

So, Bozo, where did you go? From San Juan to Ponce? If you did, I took that road when I was a kid all the time. Twisty road back in the 50s, worse than it is now. Took forever to get from one end of the Island to the other.
Rain forest to be sure, always wet and slippery!
Kwputt, know what you mean, I had 5 weeks vacation when I left, and had to ask to take more than two consecutive weeks in a row.
Good luck, I hope you get what you want, if you are going to be working for a few more years! No since in working when you are not happy, makes the days last forever! LOL

Actually Rosy, from Arecibo down to Ponce. FYI, you can now go from San Juan to Ponce completely on highway. I did that 3 years ago.
Also had to drive back to Arecibo later in day. Road a little drier then. Less traffic. Was able to have more fun.

Morning all. Still tropical down here in P.R. Working such long hours, haven't had time for beach or even pool. At least I get scenic driving.
Did I mention that 2 years of high school Spanish in the 70's doesn't really cover it? No comprende Espanol.

Mornin Everyone! Just a few more days and I am officially retired (come on Tuesday, lol), had to take today off to watch the grandson, as school is closed today. Chris is still hospitalized and will remain there until the twins arrive. Looks like rain today so I will be watching cartoons with the grandson!!!!

Have a great day everyone!

Morning! Spent all day yesterday in NYC, got backed into the hole, riggers had the piece all set to lift....and city inspectors walked in. The engineer who approved the crane setup in the morning was wrong! They slapped a stop work order on the job!!!! After 2 more hours it was agreed that a second crane on the site was ok, they could unload me. Good for me bad for them, they would have to move the unit around the block, when the city granted a new permit for the main crane. So I had a great day riding all the way down from the Bronx, into Manhattan down Broadway over Canal St., and the Manhattan Bridge into Brooklyn. Sit for 6 hours to unload, and then a 2 hour ride back up and out the GW Bridge. But at least I wasable to put Miles and myself to bed in quiet and green NJ.......:clapping:

Bill, the retirement countdown is just about done, yeahhaaaaaaaa!!! And it sounds like things are moving in a positive direction for Chrissy
