CB install on 2014 TRIGLIDE

Has anyone installed and used a CB on the 2014 Harley TRIGlide? I have mine at the dealer and after they installed it, the CB showed up under media and not under "COM" like it should. The dealer couldn't figure out why it wasn't under "COM". Under "Media" there's no place to change or see what channel you are on and also no place to turn it on and off like you should see under "com" like on the 2014 Ultra Limited. Is it a lemon or hooked up wrong? They're calling Harley Tech support tomorrow.. <sad day> since I'm wanting to head out on another road trip !!!

They must have hooked it up wrong. Mine was installed OK. Everything works like it should.
Since it's almost impossible to use a hand mike and I don't want anything over my ears, I jury rigged the headset that came with the TG. I cut the speakers off and attached a clip to the mic. Then I clip it to my jacket and then use the PTT switch.

I just picked up my trike this morning. Looks like they uploaded some software to the wrong location and after talking with tech support this morning, they figured out how to upload it to "com". So its there now. Now I just have to figure out how to use it. I know how to turn it on and off and I kind of figured out how to change the channel that is on. But is there a way to change the 6 default station buttons for the CB? I think 1, 14, maybe 6, 9 were some defaults in the 6 buttons (3 on the left of the screen when on CB and 3 on the right) If we want to run on say channel 10, I can get it so the 10 shows up in the center but can I make it a "favorite" station button?

Glad they sorted that out for You Linda. C/Bs can be very useful and fun to use but they can be a real pain to operate. Way too many buttons and switches these days. The price we pay for our fancy toys!!!

My hubby is often a genious. He figured out how to update the default CB channels on my new trike. Select the station, then press and hold... one of the 6 favorite buttons listed on the sides. This saves the station.
