Twist Grip Sensor Kit RUH ROH!!!!
The "plan" was to put on some new 2 +2 handlebars on the wife's TG --- had planed on doing this myself but wound up to busy with work so decided to let one of the local wrenches (many many years experience with HD's) do the work as we are headed South in a few days and wanted to have the new bars on for the trip. As per others that have installed extended handlebars on their TG I acquired all the necessary rigging including the recommended extended Twist Grip Sensor Kit -- HD part no 32310-08. Not sure what the deal is but --- color of wires in the kit do not match the existing wiring --- thus --- abandoned the kit and made the one that came on the TG function. Thence went back and looked at the online HD parts book and it says will not work with the TG --- thought I had looked at this before but apparently missed the "will not work on a trike " part --- just noting this to others that are wanting to put extended handlebars on ---- not sure what the correct answer is but ------
