 Have you ever heard of a cooney motorcycle?

Today i seen a bike sitting on a local dealers lot that looked like the old style choppers i built in my misspent youth.

It was a street bobber with a fat back tire and short sissy bar, a solo seat, z-bars and a springer front end.
It had a Rev Tech motor and tranny , an open primary with a belt drive and a sportster tank, and USA shorty exhaust on on it. It looked well made.

I googled Cooney motorcycles but didn't really come with a builders site that showed products. It was built in 2011 (just curious)

They are located in Salt Lake City, Sandy to be exact...about 9500 South and 500 west. Coonez Customs is kind of a low key custom bike shop with a smallish parts department, and they offer paint services. They have put some very cool radical custom choppers out over the years. Yep thats one!
The one i seen was a cracker model. The dealer is asking $10,000 for it.
With it's rigid frame it would sure be a young mans scooter and it be be more of a bar hopper and head turner than what i'm used to now, but thats pretty close to what i used to ride and would have shot for in a build.

Thanks ABBA, Good to hear from you old son!
