Just got our trike 2 weeks ago. 05 with 49225 miles on it. Good bike, steep learning curve, but finally feeling comfortable. Will soon need new rear pads, DIY.
Have found ours has usual problems, ie: cruise control stuck in ON position (no real problem), hazard switch sticks, fog light switch won't stay on. Contact cleaner and silicone don't seem to help. Oh, well.
Traded in a 2010 NT700V on the trike, but kept our 2009 Yamaha Majesty for when we want the horizon to tilt.

05 with RS here, yes, the sticking switches can be a prob on the Wing, no question. Guess the very best maintenance is an occasional shot of electrical contact spray. Not cheap at Radio Shack, and even then......

Another 05 with a Roadsmith here. ;)

I went through the same issues with the buttons. As already mentioned, contact cleaner will eventually work the kinks out of those switches. After you spray inside the switch with the small tube that comes with the can, you have to continually press the offending button over and over. It will work it's way free after awhile. As for the cruise control button, the same procedure will work there but many have left their cruise control in a permanent ON position will no ill effects. I had my cruise control button taken apart for a thorough cleaning. Enjoy your trike! ThumbUp

Welcome to Trike Talk from SE Missouri. Glad you found us and WD-40 works for me on sticking switches.
