Original plans were to go.Was in Fort Wayne last year.At the last minute,6 of us on 3 trikes decided to change plans and spend the week in Maggie Valley and get in some daily mountaine riding.

There was some rain but more than 5000 people there and I would guess half as many bikes. Vendors galore and probably 80,000 in cash and gifts passed out. Its my first WDing but I say it was anything but washed out!

My buddy went this year...Said it rained 9 out of the 11 days he was gone. He said he was never so glad to get home in his life. Said crowds were smaller than past years. Guess the weather didn't help

And the count for attendance was just over 9200.

My better half corrected my statistics to just under 10,000 people and half as many bikes. Again I thought it was awesome, but I didnt ride the trike to and from .
