TriGlide rough ride

I am experimenting with the rear air shock pressure and rear tire air pressure...is there an optimum setting that anyone knows or is it really a trial and error method? I currently run 45 on the shocks and 26 on the rear tires...any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Trial and error, I finally settled on 25 on the rear tires and 45 on the shocks.
I ride solo and weigh 200 pounds. 11T/G.

I run 22 pounds in rear tires, 36 in the front, and 30 in the shocks w/two up. When I ride alone the shocks are at 10 pounds. These are with the lift kit.

We ride 26 rear 36 front and 25 on shock. Found this to be right for us. We also have the lift kit.

Although I haven't tried it yet, Lehman recommends 20 PSI in the rears. The person who sold me the trike pumped up the rear tires to 30 PSI, and the ride on a typical NJ back road or street is teeth jarring. Lehman claims 20 PSI gives a better ride, and can handle 1140 pounds per tire.
Has anyone tried that yet?

Remember, you bought a TRIKE, not a bike. Guess too many years on a lowered Softail and two Hardtails made me immune to bumpy roads. These are Harley Davidsons, not Cadillacs

Keep in mind you have a solid axle on that Triglide and that doesn't make the ride any smoother.

Nothing is gonna be very helpful on Jersey Roads, Especially with sunken man hole covers and where utility companies made cut's across the streets, With two wheels you can duck a few, But with three you can't avoid them...
