Has anyone purchased a Recurve Windshield from LRS. They have a new product called the Elite Series LRS. I am thinking about buying one and was hoping to find some people that have made this purchase

I'm running an LRS Ultra recurve on my trike. They tell ya to buy one that you look over, but I have looked through a shield for too many years ! So I use the 12" light tint. If I only rode around town a low shield might be ok, but tall shields have saved me more than once !
I love the LRS products ! Great prices, & great quality. Haven't tried that new Elite Series. Looks like it might work though. Biggest difference is poly carb vs plexglass.
The wild ones are the Stealth, & Xstream.
I have had no problems at all with their shields, & the best prices around !!:Trike1:

I have the LRS flattop recurve in the 9 inch light tint and really like it. I can see over it just fine and probably could have even gone to the 10 inch height and still look over it. I probably put around 8K on the trike since I put it on last spring and have had no problems. The recurve does a very good job of pushing the wind up over me. Very seldom do I ever have a bug splat on the helmet. I have ridden in rain with it and glad that I can see over it. I have thought about the Stealth or Xstream but I have the new style HD three bag system on the windshield and believe they don't fit with the Stealth or Xstream. Guess I should just give them a shout and ask. Like Sloufoot said, their price is good and the quality is right up there.

2011 Merlot and Black TG, Dennis' lift kit and deflectors, LRS flattop 9 in. recurve, HD LED headlight and taillights, Airfoil luggage rack with LED's, HD lower facia with LED's, Stage 1 with CVO slipons and PCV.

I have purchased 3 recurves from LRS. I have the 10 in. and 8 in. Ultras. Im just the opposite, I like to see over the shield. The wind on the rode goes up and over, no problem. The top of the 10 in. is at eye level and bothers my view, so I got the 8 in which is perfect for me. The light tint is just fine.
I also have the X-Stream in 9in. Its ok for me, but the wife doesn't like the air hitting her in the face. If you have windshield bags, they just barely fit with the 9 in.

I also have a 10" recurve from LRS and it works, and looks, great. I tried a coupla other brands previously and was not satisfied with any of them. Very happy with LRS.

I have the 12" on my trike, & I can still see over the top if I need to. In the rain I find that a good coat of pledge gets rid of the water anyway. But normally I get behind the shield. Also as others say the BOSS doesn't like all the wind in her face.
I did find that there is more air pulled (maybe just let up) from in front of the tank because of the recurve action , but that is minimal. Also I put on a baffle that controls that.:Trike1:

Had a 'Fastaire' windshield on our EG for probably 10 years. Goggle Fast Aire, he has great products and prices, reasonable shipping.
