It certainly wasn't me!

I was at home in bed and I have three other people who will testify to that!

Stay tuned. I'll spill the beans later this weekend. And yes, Denise (SeaHawkFan1765) does know, lol. ;)

Okay,, okay,,,. I figure I've kept a few of you in suspense long enough. :drama: And I really have to give Denise credit as she really did keep my secret.

As most of you know, I sold my sweet 97 Valkyrie trike a few months ago and found that shortly after the sale, I was going into withdrawal. I tried to do the right thing by selling my trike and found that I really do love the hobby more than I ever thought! Now mind you, I really don't ride that much, but not having the trike in the garage not only for the times I do ride, but just to have her there with my constant tweaking and adding new bling options was really depressing. So,,,,,,,,,,, (as most of you may have already guessed) I began my search for a replacement.

Now I had all intentions of not getting anything until next year! And I really should have stuck to my plans, but you know how those "best intended plans" can become side-tracked when you see something that really catches your eye. You may have seen a previous thread of mine regarding a 2005 Goldwing with a brand new Roadsmith conversion that I was looking at. Well,,, I'm picking her up this coming Friday! :10: And that other thread I have going about removing decals is for the new enclosed trailed I bought just for the trike!

I had wanted to hold out for a 2006-2008 Wing but the price for this 2005 with all of the options she already has on her just made this too good of a deal to pass up. And, she's my favorite color to boot (dark metallic grey)! :AllGood:

Now although I mentioned that she has quite a few dealer and after-market options already installed, you know damn well that I already have a nice long wish-list on the 'Wing Stuff' web site  An appointment has already been made at my local dealer where I had my Valkyrie serviced to give this new Wing a thorough maintenance check and do what ever is necessary to keep her in top condition as she will clearly be my last and final trike!

So with all of that said, I'll post pictures as soon as she arrives home next weekend along with a list of the first set of upgrades I have planned. LOL :D

Back on three again!:LordHelp:

Well, how bout that! I was suspicious when I saw the thread on the decals, only I thought it was because a trike you were looking at had decals. Thought you were trying to throw us off track.

CONGRATULATIONS! Can't wait to see it.

I was asked not to tell.....so I didn't. :D

After all his threads the past 2 weeks, I couldn't stand not knowing so, I actually sent Rich a PM last week asking him if he decided to buy another trike. I think it's great that he found another trike. Congrats again my friend!

I went on a Bikers for Ta Tas ride today....we passed a lot of the St Jude runners returning to Peoria. God Bless each and everyone of them. I couldn't run down my driveway let alone from Memphis to Peoria!

Speaking of Peoria...anyone coming to the TT race in August? The Motor Maids are going to do a lap around the track. Thanks again, Marcia for the info.

Hope everyone had a great day riding and made it home safe and sound!

Congratulations, man when you jump you do it with both feet. Can't say I'm not jealous, have fun, ride safe.

Yeah,,.. Guess I really did this time. And one of the reasons I did (which I try not to think about) are all of the family and friends I've seen pass on recently and those who aren't doing well health wise. You never know when it'll be your turn in the barrel so, like my sweet wife said; "we might as well because we're not getting any younger and you just never know".

Congratulations Rich ! Good to hear that you are back on the roll.
