Dennis sent me my goodie box and he sent the black wrinkle wings for the forks. I like the black wrinkle ones, you don't notice they are on the bike with it being black also. What ya'll think? I know that I like the deflectors due to having them on my Deluxe. Made it soooo much nicer not having all that wind hitting me in the face plus road dirt and debris. If I were taller it would hit me in the chest.

I paid extra!!! Lol, actually, I'm going to keep them and let Dennis make the chome ones available to someone else. I'm sure he has a waiting list for those last few. I really think the black looks great instead of in-your-face-Chrome!

Skeet, you must be special. I am waiting on the chrome ones also, but Dennis didn't let me try the black ones till the chrome ones came. Looks real good.

All my chrome orders are filled. Yours should be there by tomorrow I would think.
She would have had to wait another month for the last I have and I have given up on chrome shops!!
Dennis

Skeet, they look absolutely horrible on there!!! You should immediately trade with me and install my silver vein deflectors and let me have your black wrinkle deflectors:D:D:D

Not unless you install my lifts....come to think of it...not a chance.

I'm not going to chrome the front end. My chrome addiction is only the axle nuts, so the black wrinkle wings do disappear under the black fairing and deflectors. When I had the chrome ones on the Deluxe everything up front looked shiney and bright, so the chrome deflectors added to the chrome tins.
Thanks Dennis, sending me those was a good thing, I likie alot.

Looking good.... I have the same fork wings on my Tri and they work as advertised. Also have the lift kit and Tour Box re-locators. All good stuff.

I just tested the under the tree deflector only by Dennis and I am happy with just that option along with my new curved windsheild..Made a big difference in the wind hitting me and the wife today..It was only 45 deg today..

I may sell off the fork deflectors.

Very nice, Skeet. I like the way they kind of blend in instead of having the shiny chrome stand out. When I decide to get mine I believe the decision will be wrinkle black.

Even on the Big Blue and Black , the wrinkle black will look awsome and disappear. Oh, and they clean up very nicely, bug body parts come off very easily.

i have dennis's wind deflectors on my '09 t/g. i have my oil temp sensor in-line to the oil cooler (jeggs universal 4x6) located in the lt crash bar area. haven't had any 80* days here, but with a 75* day ,24 mile trip on freeway, the oil temp has been 180 - 185*.
i net it warm up once & didn't get my coat & stuff on before the temp went to 220* so
the oil temp cooled down to 180 about 2 miles of 55 mph rideing.
i also have the baker plus 1 oil pan which means the oil inlet & outlet are on opposites ends of the oil pan & i can get 4 3/4 qts of oil with filter change. one note oc caution
the drive belt rubs the oil pan pretty aggressively, but not noticeable damage to the belt. had the belt adjusted & it slightly rubs now. (just takeing the paing off some.
