I'm not sure if this is allowed on our forum. If it's not please accept my apologies and have it removed.

Just wanted to tell everyone about a fantastic vendor if you're looking for decals for your ride. He also makes custom decals. You send him the photo and he'll adjust it to what ever size you need. His decals already come clear coated so you can simply apply them over your paint, or, you can have them with out the clear coat if you are re-painting so your decal/picture can be placed on the new paint job and then clear coated to give a completely uniform finish.

I sent this fella a photo that I'd like to have on my tank. I had mentioned that the tank was already at the paint shop. He called me within 1 hour of my initial e-mail and told me that he could have my finished decal sent to me within 2 days. We called each other a few time during the same day with more suggestions regarding the best way to present the photo (sizing, borders, ect.) Talk about fantastic customer service!

Here's the link if anyone is interested.

I'm not getting any special consideration from mentioning this vendor. Just wanted to pass on a real top notch service.

Again, my apologies if this kind of posting is not allowed.

I am new here, so I don't know if this allowed or not. He sure has some pretty stuff. I am quite sure Crimson Lace would stop running the first time I put a "sticker" on her. I guess the other "H" riders aren't as picky as I am. :D

 I used their decals rather than painting my trike ($$$ considerations, I'm afraid :(), and have had many compliments!!

I would like to try it on my helmets. Don't know how they would work on the curves. I still like the real art work ( paint )

John, the decals I got were small and round (a wolf, a buffalo, and a dreamcatcher) to match the ones on my bke and windshield. The colors were bright, they've very sturdy, and applied very easily. If you see some you like, go ahead and give them a try - they also remove easily enough with some heat and Goo Gone if you don't like them. :)

I spent hours looking through all the decals they offered. Quite impressive site and I will be buying some in the future for my Stallion.

what kind of $$ are you talking..? I can have feathers painted on my helmet for $25.00 each . Would the decal be cheaper

Depends on what size you're talking about, but here's the wolf and buffalo that I got - 2.5" x 2", 2 of each were $9.95....http://www.purpleharley.com/reflective_decals_6.htm.

Somewhere on the site are the feathers and dreamcatchers I bought....the feathers might have been a little more, but that's because they're bigger. I didn't want to spend money on painting unless/until I knew they'd look like I wanted. Besides, wasn't sure at the time where to look in our area to even have the painting done. Now, I can't afford it anyway, so I'm just as happy with the decals, and I get compliments all the time on them, too!

I love it when I am partly quoted

notice the :D:D

GWT - That's 'cause you were "partly" a bit condescending to "H" riders who would put a "sticker" on their trike rather than put out the big bucks for a painter.

I'm sure you have some things on your trike I wouldn't have on a bet, but that's your choice and it sure doesn't make you any less (or more) “picky" than me.

Vive la Différence! :wtg:

That's why I ended it with a smiley face - to take away any thoughts of being condescending. It doesn't bother me one whit what a person does or does not put on their trike, bike or what ever. I was just poking fun at my Harley buddies. It was not done to offend anyone or anybody. Again, that's why the post ended with a :D - which is proper etiquette for bulletin board posts.

I may have things on my trike that you would not, BUT one thing I DO NOT have is stickers - I don't care what you call them. With over $52,000 invested, there is not a spot where a decal would fit.

Here are pics of some of them on my trike fenders. Not quite as curved as a helmet, but then the helmet decals would be smaller too. Cheri's trike decals I'd prefer paint too, but $$$..... Besides, with the decals I can always remove them if I decide to change "themes" (unlikely, but you never know! ;))
