As the temps were in the mid to high 70s today, took the bride out for a 2 tank cruise. Thought I would try some baffle test. Took the lexan portion off the lower tree baffle and ran just the metal bracket. Took off on interstate and with the lexan portion off, I got a little air under faring and up over tank, not allot. Started playing with adjustable vents on faring and lowers. What surprised me was it was more comfortable with all closed. When one wanted a good air flow over body, feet out on highway pegs and knees out. Same results on two lanes at 55.
Just plain one comfortable riding day out there.
Also, around town, rear tires at only 16, could not believe the ride. Figure I will pump them up some for trips but for now, they stay the same.
Would like to hear from others with the baffles after they try riding with all vents closed.
