Zumo 550/CB interface

I have a 2013 GL with Roadsmith kit and I plan to install the Honda OEM CB radio with an OEM antenna.

Do any of you folks know if there is a way I can interface my Zumo 550 with the CB so I can hear directions on the headset? Any help will be greatly appreciated!!

Just set your audio for the stereo to head phones, the Garmin will be plugged into the aux port of the stereo. You should be able to have both the CB and stereo into the head phones.

Howdy Morgan, I have a J & M interface on my '06 that works well for me. It will also let you hook up a radar detector if so desired. Give the Robert a call at Overby's Two Wheel Sound ( 800-992-4092 ). He can hook you up with what you need for less $$ then buying direct from J & M...

BTW, it also interfaces my iPhone to the bike at the same time. :xszpv: :xszpv:

Have the Garmin 550 and what Mike says here works. The only problem is that it only puts the sound in the right channel. I am hard of hearing in my right ear, so my wife has to repeat the info. I guess I could reverse the wires so it will use the left channel.

Thanks for the great suggestions for the CB/Zumo interface! Im ordering the CB radio within a week and looking forward to making it work with the Zumo.
