Zeitz to Retire

They need to find a CEO that understands the motorcycle community and what the riders want. Tennis shoes and motorcycles are miles apart. Electric bikes need to be discontinued and an investment made in more affordable commuter motorcycles. America does not have enough power generating plants to charge every electric vehicle.

No new CEO is going to turn HD around like in the glory days. There's too many used Harleys out there. And forget the mid range market to save the MOCO- it always bombs. HD should buy up all the used bikes it can find and send them to the crusher. There..no pre-owned bikes to be had, its new or find a motor and build your own.

The director who resigned and his firm have launched a campaign to oust Zeitz as CEO and from the board plus remove a couple other board members. Hope the effort is successful. Way past time for this in my never to be humble opinion.

Copied from the article: Dourdeville also criticized the lack of Zeitz’s physical presences at Harley-Davidson’s office or any related facilities, claiming he spends most of his time working out of Santa Fe, New Mexico, London, U.K., and rural Kenya (Zeitz owns a 50,000 acre wildlife habitat in Kenya).
There was someone else who did this but they spent their working hours at the beach and being paid to do nothing. Do we actually have people who can run a large company and actually work for the money? Most of these educated boobs couldn't run a lemonade stand. :ROFLMAO:
