Hi Guys, another Australian here, a 1960's model, although I do spend a good deal of my time in Asia now due to various interests there.

I have been a member since 2015, intending to build back then, but other things got in the way then. All clear now.

In a previous time when race cars had skinny tires and fat drivers, I was a bike mechanic, later Engineering Degree and I build stuff, always have.

And now I'm starting to build my Trike with a difference, and welcome you to follow it's progress in the build thread.

Mark the closest i got to Oz, Was when a ran into some Aussie troops in Vung Tau, 1966...Interesting group, I couldn't under stand a word they were saying...

Much later Redgum sung a song about them....Titled ; I Was Only 19....

Very haunting song....Sad but Worth a listen to....:cxtv:

Nifty build

Wow, this is insane how many introductions there has been since I said hello!

I had to go to the bottom of the page to find me, but at least I didn't have to go to Nepal to find myself :birgitsgiggle:

Of course I could just go to a hotdog guy and ask him to make me one with everything!

Mark...Just sauerkraut with Coney Island mustard on the dog for me, Thank you.......And make that a dirty water dog if you got them down there...ThumbUpThumbUp

I think that may have another meaning in Australia ... :censored: :laugh:

Nope.....Its a New York thing...... Its a hot dog from the street venders in Manhattan...

It is very questionable as to how old the water that the dogs been sitting in is...

And that's what gives them their unique flavor ...... ThumbUp.......:D

The background picture at Triketalk has a picture of a windy road, is anyone aware of where it actually is?

I think it's "The Lost Burma Road", built in WW2 that was found again recently and now is called the "The not quite so lost anymore Burma road that's actually in China" (hence they couldn't find it in Burma!), but maybe it's another?
