Yet another noob...

Nice place you all have here. Recently I learned about it reading a trike discussion over at GL1800Riders.

By way of intro: real name is Rick. I’m married with two grown and married children and three grandchildren. My wife and I live in a quiet neighborhood with close-by access to plentiful paved and unpaved country roads on which to indulge my mostly therapeutic riding habits.

Key words: former Marine, truck guy, motorcyclist, and teacher/educator.

I’ve loved all things with two wheels since learning to ride a bicycle on a Hale County, Alabama dirt road at age five. My first motorcycle was a 1970 Suzuki TC-90. Since then, and at various times, I’ve also owned Hondas and BMWs.

Of late I’ve realized I’m at the age when most men begin to plot their exit strategies. How that reality fits into motorcycling is yet to be decided, but after mulling it periodically over the last year or so I’m looking into trikes. I’m grateful to find a reservoir of wisdom!
