XIED's and warranty

they plug inline with your O2 sensors..They Need a good ground..
all depends ..I would nt chance it..to have the warranty voilded/

You can put them on and take them off in 10 minutes. Warranty cannot be voided and unless they can be proved to cause the issue at hand. If in doubt, remove them before taking the bike to the Dealer.

Just pull them before taking it to the dealer, they can make life a living hell if they see them and want to make an issue of it. I've seen 1st hand what the MoCo and a pissy service manager can do if they don't like something you have done without paying them to do it.

Well I had them on my 08 EG and my Tri Glide. Never had a problem when I took bikes into the dealer. My son also had them on his 08 SG and his 11 Super Glide. Dealer never said anything about them either.
I even had a mechanic at the dealer ask me about them because he wanted them for his bike. He thanked me for the info and told me later that he got them and was happy with them.
So I guess it would depend on your dealer. If you have a doubt take them off before you take the bike in. It only takes a few minutes and they would never know.

I have had the same experience. DK Custom Products is the largest Dealer of the XiED product line. They are a great product for many applications, and we have installed them on bikes in many HD showroom floors.

However, some dealers simply do not like them, and if there ever is an engine warranty issue, especially one to do with the ECM or AFR related problems, many dealers and HD Corporate will likely blame it on any non-HD component, regardless of what really caused the issue.

So, like you said, just better to take them off when going in for service.
