Does anyone know a company that makes custom windshields for trikes. I am wanting to get one that is a little wider than the stock one and see if I can't get it flipped on the top to kick the air up and over the passenger area, wife don't like as much air as comes over me and hits her. Any help appreciated...

After doing a lot of research and emails, I have come to the conclusion, that it's a waste of time, with the way my windshield mounts (down in a recess). I larger shield would likely crack or worse damage my trike. Am trying to get the wind and buffeting on Momma eased some, but think most of it is coming around the fairing not the windshield.
Thanks for the ideas and help.

I've had great luck in the past by modifying Vetter windshields. They are regularly available thru Ebay, and most styles they offered were extra wide and extra high. In your case one those which even have handguards built into the shield, might be a good candidate for trimming the bottom to snug up to your forward nosepiece. And generally the cost off Ebay will be low enough that a bit of a risk might be feasible with potentially high value yield.

Good luck.

Hate to say it but you probable wont get a windshield to do what you want it to do. With the passenger seat sitting higher then the driver and being back as far as it is, it will be really hard to stop the wind.

I recently bought a throttle cable from Rat Race Productions in Az. I have emailed him questions about some other parts. I don't know if he would have what your looking for, but he might be able to point you in the right direction. His name is Al and their service was great. You might touch base with him.
Thanks for your time.

That is kinda what I have been telling her, even toyed with the idea of putting a windshield behind me on the back of the seat area, but really don't think it will help. She is just going to have to get used to the wind or sell the trike..
