Windshield removal

I have a Valkyrie Interstate and have been told that removing the windshield
can strip the mounting studs from the fiberglass.
Anyone have any experience with that.

I need to remove it to fit it into an enclosed trailer.
The trailer door is 2 inches to low.

I would have 3 inches cut from the top of the shield if someone could do it while its installed.
I will take it to have it cut down after I remove it.

The shield is a Tulsa Tall,,I would like it a little shorter anyway.

JimEd, I would send a PM to Bazooka and ask him. I know they have built several Valks and done some customizing on them. I'm sure he can advise you what to do and not do. Good luck with it, and let us know how it comes out..
