I have a used after market wind shield, no idea of the brand. I have just about figured out the mounting using mostly flat stock. There won't be a bunch of room to adjust once it's mounted and there is not a wind tunnel within 150 miles of me. My front end has a pretty good rake, but I bought the bike used, so I don't know the degrees. I don't know if the shield should be vertical 90 degrees to the ground, at the same angle as the front forks, or some thing in the middle. Any info., guesses, or experiance will be very helpful.
Thanks for ypur time

I built my own windshield http://3fowlers.com/shields.html

At first it was to heavy and not at the right angle
I cut some steel off and changed the angle

I don't have any updated pictures of it after I did the modifications but I reduced the angle down to around 45 degrees.
It seems to be working real good this way. The rain rolls off better and it does not fog up as much
I may even be seeing a very small increase in fuel mileage (not sure yet)

Get a leaf blower and have someone aim it a duct taped in place windshield. Sit on trike and see how wind treats you.

That is actually an excellent idea Bikerbozo!!!

Other than what he said, its kind of a trial and error. But I'll bet using a leaf blower would be the best idea!

That, or bring that scoot to Wyoming............Your bound to find 50+ mph winds.
