Who wears chaps?

My chaps are heavy duty, a couple decades old and just about to go in to get new zipper (3rd time). I swear by them in cold weather. A couple years ago, I also got some "enclosed" chaps. Full zippers on both sides but not open in front/back. I like them also.
as far as looks, I am on the fashion police most wanted list. Don't care. The wife on the other hand has chaps with red roses and another set with fringes. BUT, I can't get her to ride in real cold much anymore.

Bought a pair 10yrs ago, wore them twice, not worn them since. Depend on my jeans for protection, then put rain gear over them when it gets cold and then tough it out or don't ride. Since I live in Central Texas, it's no biggie.

Chaps are a regular part of my gear, and unless it's just too damn hot to wear them, I do so habitually. They're added protection from flying debri and they add a nice wind resistant layer when it's colder. As for how they look, if I gave a rat's azz, I wouldn't go out looking like this!

Obviously, I ran out of people to impress a long time ago! :D
