Walmart or somewhere like that, in the trunk it goes. If my trunk is packed on a trip or something of that nature, I carry it with me. Most times on a trip about the only time it's off my head is when I get where I'm going or at a gas station or restaurant. Gas station, no big deal. I take it off and park it on the seat. Restaurant, I take it in and put it on a chair. If I'm where I'm going, the trunk usually gets the gear emptied out and in it goes if need be. The rest of the time I'm carrying it. I have on occasion put it over a mirror or on the seat if I feel it's safe for it to be there. I suppose if I was using a cheap helmet I wouldn't care where I put it, but I like having a good helmet and a good helmet costs good money so I try to watch out for it.

Hello All, I am wondering where you put your helmets when you park and go into a store or something. When traveling you have your trunks full of stuff. On my 2 wheeler we have helmet locks under the trunk but with the trike I don't think there is room there. Right or wrong? We fly in to pick up our trike tonight and am just curious.

We just lay them on the seats that seems to work for us so far . I grew up in a house where our doors were never lock , day or night . Those days are over , hopefully our helmets will be safe .
