What trailer do you use to haul your trike?

After purchasing my Tri Glide in September of 2023, I put about 400 miles on it before winter came early.
Over the winter of 2023/2024 is when I started the transformation from vivid black to the custom HOK Kandy Brandywine. I put 5,000 miles on it last year with quite a few modifications through this time.
This winter, I (of course) did more including a new front wrap style fender.

Getting to the point of this post!… lol!!… during this time I wondered if it would fit the open trailer I had for years (and used for my previous bikes).
Today, I can confirm and will say, that it “comfortably fits perfect”!
I would not recommend any shorter, nor any less wide than what I have. (5’ wide would definitely be EXTREMELY close! - too close for comfort in my opinion).

What I have:
A 5-1/2 foot wide, 10 foot long TSC carry on brand open trailer. (Some modifications done to it: double rear gate, custom spring inside the top tube rails for ease of assisting the gate back into position).
Again it fit perfect!
I just trailered it to a custom detailer that does a professional Ceramic coating. This way that paint will have the best protection on that paint.

I have a Condor Aluminum wheel chock at the front, multiple tie down points, but after the first time confirming fitment and first time it’s been trailered, I will now add an E-track rail system to the rear for a better rear tie down points.

But just wanted to say how my 2014 Tri glide (with a 9 degree take kit from @Papa Zook) fit on my trailer and personally would not recommend any smaller than what I have.

Recap: 10’ long, 5-1/2’ wide would be the smallest that it would comfortably fit.

Any one preferring a low clearance, enclosed trailer option (that doubles as a secure, weather proof storage trailer) may want to look at IronHorse Trailers.

We have one for the wide, low, long Indian Roadmaster Hannigan Trike Mod, and love it - loaded trailer tows great behind a truck, large SUV, or RV.

The Iron Horse trailers handle loading unloading low trikes very well - they have a long 52" fold down rear ramp, and also have a low 10" ground clearance due to torsion axles. This allows for a very flat loading profile for low trikes.

The trike trailer weighs only 1,170 lbs (premium aluminum and fiberglass construction). Holds one trike or two large road bikes.
