I thought I was the only one to use Honda spray wax. I carry it on my long trips. I love the stuff.

Almost all bike shops sell it..
1st of all if you use anything to remove some scratches. You have to do the whole area. You can use a number of things to do this. Hell even tooth paste will work. Seriously it does work ! On your faring you can use a clay bar and and the spray it comes with. If that doesn't work try polishing compound " the white stuff" NOT the red one. Go over lightly and keep it damp. But you have to do the whole faring. You can use that bar on your whole bike. Make sure its clean to start. OR your going to put more marks on it. Also No matter what you use Keep it damp. Then wipe off the the excess with a clean wet micro fiber rag or towel. Then you must wax it. But like I said if the clay Bar doesn't do the trick. Try some toothpaste of the area. Its real fine grit in it and almost harmless. Do not just rub on one area do the whole faring. Wipe off and WAX. I do my 20012 truck once a every other month with a clay bar. once a yr with polishing compound. I've used toothpaste a # of times on everything from Bikes to Classic cars if they have a minor scratch.I have some minor surface scratches on the front fairing. Depending on the depth of the scratches, Novus should work well. I use it for the final polish-out on the guitars I build. It's great stuff.
