I am ready to change the mufflers but not the craziest about what the catalogs offer for my 17 FW. Is there anyone with input as to whether any others work on my bike, like maybe touring slip ons in general or maybe only Road Kings? Follow up would be what years of whatever input you have will fit. Right now I'm pretty sketchy on there being a difference between 2016 and 2017. I tried doing a search here but couldn't get it to work. For me performance is more important than sound but not by much!

What do you think?

Pretty sure any slip on that will fit a '16 will also fit your '17. The two wheel bikes with the M8 motor have different mufflers for right and left with different inlet sizes. Not so the trike. It uses a step down adapter to reduce the larger diameter on the head pipe. So the standard mufflers that fit a Twin Cam will work on the trikes with the M8 motor to the best of my knowledge.

But I suggest you check the length of the muffler from the inlet to the rear mounting bracket to make sure everything will line up properly.

Good info, I'll have to watch that. Thanks

2016 FW with stock headers and Rinehart 4" slipons. Length is perfect - RACING visable and Rinehart is barely visable. Will post pic later

Will the slipons extend out more like the pic above with aftermarket headers? Thx
