I will be converting my Heritage Softail to a trike soon. One company that sells rake kits says I need a 5 degree rake kit and another company said I should use a 6 degree kit. Who to believe. Is there really that much difference between the two? Does any one know which one would be the best one to use and why? Thanks for ny info.

I would contact Zook on this fourm and he will be able to help you for sure.

I am thinkin 5 deg would be perfect..I have used 5 deg and had just the right amount of feel for the steering and no wooble..I also went with 2 inch longer on the forks..

just got my 03 100th Aniver. Ultra Classic back from my friends shop. Put Tri Glide neck, bearings, forks, crome plate under headlight that covers forks. The tri glide forks are longer so you dont have to use spacers like the after market kits. this is only about 4 degrees it moved my front wheel forward about 4 inches. the bike drives like a dream. stearing is great, like putting power stearing on it. rides great with just me and when my wife is with me. you need to do your homework because if you go to far the stearing will be to touchy.

I used Zook's rake kit for my 2011 Road King.

The difference in handling was awesome. Like others have said, it was the difference between manual steering and power steering.

A rake kit thru my dealer would have been $1000. The kit from Zook was $700.

BIG difference.

Zook rake kit.

I purchased a rake kit for my 2014 Tri-Glide from Papa Zook. I didn’t have much riding time last year, but this year is amazing. This rake kit has allowed me to enjoy riding my trike like never before. I encourage anyone to contact Bazooka for advice and a great product. Thanks Bazooka.
