What Maintenace Do I Need.........

..........on a 2012 Goldwing with only 7,700 miles on it.

Reason for asking is I bought my 2012 Goldwing new in 2014 that was stored for two years in the warehouse before purchase.

In 2015, I had it triked with a Roadsmith conversion unit.
I will be dropping it off at the Honda dealership to have Honda's brake recall done soon.

Because it sat for two years new, driven for two years for 7,700 miles, can you think of any maintenance I should have performed besides visual checks of dirty fluids etc.

I have change the oil once during a winter lay-up.
I must say, it runs great.

Suggestions please

Presuming your dealer did all the typical checks when you bought it and you did the usual owner maintenance you have I can't think of a thing. I wouldn't even have them check anything. You can/have done it all yourself. Why pay them? :xszpv::xszpv:

What he said. 8,000 is just an oil change. I have a good mechanic and do my own oil changes. When I need a front tire I just take it in and ask what needs done. He hasn't steered me wrong in 7 years and 150K on a bike and trike. I did very little maintenance on the '09 in 115k and had no problems

Now see, here's someone that chooses to ride then do his own wrenching.

So many bad writings has been said here about Honda's dealership and wrenches
that I always had a hard time believing it all.
If you like to wrench on your Goldwing to save $$$$$, that's great, but I choose to support
my Honda dealer.

I also have a Honda wrench that treats me right and does the major
repairs/adjustments/warranty work, rides a Goldwing himself, and someone I can trust.

Three Cheers for honest Honda wrenches that treat you right..............ThumbUp

Makes no sense to me to pay someone for doing something I can do myself. My time is not worth the 80-100 bucks an hour that shops often charge. I'm not worth that much.

Change the oil and fill it up with gas. Probably will run great.

Yep, the oil/filter/final drive/ tire check for nails etc. I do myself.

Any adjustments/fluid changes/tire changes, I'll leave that to my Goldwing wrench.
