Would a public apology mean anything to you if you had been treated this way? I know you are supposed to turn the other cheek but we are only human. Feelings are feelings. I'm just not sure their apology is worth much. Don't think it would be to me if I had been there. Just being honest. I think they could have gone a little further. Like invite them all back at no charge across the board. Then that apology might mean something. Words are just words. Action is a little different. Two employees being fired means nothing when it comes down to it. They probably wanted to fire them anyway but had nothing solid to take action on. Just my thoughts as if I were there.
Seems today people can say or do anything and then someone apologizes and everything is OK. It is disgusting. This country is going (gone?) to hell in a hand basket.
