What do you like about your California Sidecar Trike?

1992 GL1500 with 2015 CSC Sport Conversion

Who would spend $15,000 on triking a 25 year old bike? Me. Actually I had already completely restored the bike including Traxxion Dynamics forks which made the 1500 handle unbelievably nimble. The CSC conversion was done because I am 63 and had encountered a couple of scary incidents because of the weight of the bike at slow speeds.. The conversion exceeded my expectations. This one is painted to be unique. Everybody who sees it can't believe ts a 1992 because it looks new even though it has 110k miles. My wife and I now can enjoy continuing to ride in comfort without the stress of trying to handle a 1000 lb bike. Thanks CSC!FB_IMG_1513823397234.jpg

We had our 2012 Kawasaki Nomad 1700 triked in 2015 and had a matching Escapade trailer made at the same time. We absolutely love it! We get compliments on it wherever we go. The bodystyle perfectly compliments the motorcycles original design. And it rides and handles awesome with the independent suspension and the Power Trak rake kit, just like a three wheeled sports car. You guys at CSC really know how to build a trike! Thanks CSC!

2010 Honda Goldwing CSC Cobra Trike

My bride and i really like our CSC Cobra trike. We bought it used with only 8,000 or so miles on it 5-6 years ago. I can't ride a bike anymore as i have had way too many neck and back surgeries and a mini and major stroke. My right leg gives out without warning so riding a bike is a no-no. That is why we bought a trike.

We looked around for a long time and decided we want a CSC Trike.

We have done the driveshaft update to it and that really helped.

Also just got done with the Traxxion front springs and Rocky's Comfort Risers to the handlebars and that really helped the ride and handling.

If we ever update it will be for another CSC Trike as we really like CSC!

CSC Broken Back Jack

Very sharp Cobra install! Love that color too!

BTW-Broken Back Jack, if you would be so kind to say why you like the CSC kit so much? Your perceptions of CSC Pro & Cons? I'm scheduled for installation in April.

I am waiting for response from Max @ Traxion on his front shock for the 2018 GW DCT Tour as I am leaning to having it installed when I have the CSC installed.

Thanks in advance,

We like the room for storing things and also the ride/handling. Rode other makers trikes and we both like the CSC Trikes better. Others might disagree but this one fit our needs! Also when email or calling CSC with questions, they are quick to get back to us and usually within an hour or 2.

The Traxxion front springs really made a difference on our 2010 and Rocky's Comfort Risers brought the handlebars up and in, so now i can fully use the backrest on our Goldwing!

It isn't the same Trike that we had before or should say so it seems. Those additions really helped the ride and handling.

CSC Trike

Ok, well, what can I say..... I am an owner of a brand new CSc Arrow trike on a 2020 Roadmaster. Well, actually, I havent even seen it yet, as it is being built right now and was supposed to be shipped to my dealer for install this last week ( but what I understand it didnt ship yet because something is on backorder or something). So, its sitting there at the factory yet... What do I like about it.

Besides the quality in the workmanship Ive seen on other CSC Arrow trikes, and the pure beauty of the whole thing, I mostly love the fact that with this trike, my wife will now be riding with me! She is intimidated by a big bikes size and her ability to hold one up, but with the trike, that fear is eliminated, thus bringing us even closer together. Its being set up well for 2up riding for if we want to take one vehicle, but also set up so she can safely and easily handle it on her own, so she can ride that while Im on my two wheel Indian.

Thank you CSC for bringing us closer together!

PS Pictures will have to wait unfortunately. Dale

CSC Trike

This trike is the best thing I have done in a long time! It will extend my riding career by many years, My wife loves it, too; now she can't wait to get on the road! It is a 1999 Goldwing SE and it looks great! We get a lot of comments and waves whenever we go somewhere. It has been trouble free for a long time too! Thanks for making an awesome ride!!

I just purchased a blue DCT/CSC Encore from Randy (Papa Zook) at Cut N Shoot Customs in Conroe, Texas. This is my second CSC trike and frankly CSC was the only trike and always was greeted with a friendly helpful person. I have also ordered accessories and parts and found the service to be excellent. California Side Car doesn't make all the trikes they only make the best trikes.

2014 GL1800 CSC Viper

The CSC Viper Kit, with the PowerRake install makes riding the trike like riding a sport trike. I love the way you dont fight to handle corners, and the independent suspensions makes rough spot (manhole covers, etc) not feel like being bounced off of the seat.

Fit, and Finish is amazing. We did not get the ground effects wanted a cleaner look.

Once up to highway speeds on super slab the trike just floats. Twistys are still fun. This is my spouse's trike, she was pretty adamant about it being hers and not mine. LOL!

We are looking forward to many years of service from the unit.

As someone else quoted. CSC does not make all the trikes just the best trikes.....

Hi Jimmie, :welcome:to Trike Talk

CSC Trike Kit

I like everything about my Trike. I have a 2019 Daytona kit on my 2007 Streetglide frame. My wife doesn't ride so I didn't go for the tour pack option so its pretty sleek and I get lots of complements on it. Trikes are just starting to catch on in my area[Alberta Canada] mostly I think because HD started selling them.

I personally have a health condition that won't get better, and hoping it won't get worse so eventually the 2 wheeler was going to be out. A friend of mine already had a CSC conversion and I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it. I took the jump sooner than later and have never looked back. im 69 years old and ill ride this sled until I can't hang on anymore.

Of coarse I like the trike for all the same reasons that have been mentioned in previous posts but I have to say my CSC dealer, Pare-A-Dice Trikes, in Sunnybrook Alberta is top notch. Stop in if you're in his area.

I haven't figured out how to post pics on this site yet or how to get them right side up. [computer nerd]after.jpg

2014 Ultra Limited CSC 2023.

Absolutely love our California Side Car Conversion. I have a friend that has a 2020 CVO TriGlide. He is very impressed my CSC. He has tried everything to make his TriGlide to ride as good as possible, but does not equal my CSC. He will be getting a CSC conversion on his next ride.

They have the best ride all around.

Thanks

New to the trike world. thank you for providing information and knowledge on maintenance. I have received/seen a lot of great tips etc... Look forward to having some of these adventures.

Converted my 2021 GW last October by Dwight at CSC. Fit and finish is extremely great. Have had many compliments on the details of how the bike looks. Just got back from my two week trip to Florida. Very comfortable and I was nowhere near as tired as I was on the previous trips on two wheels. Absolutely enjoying the trike.

I took delivery of my Honda Gold Wing Tour DCT/CSC Encore conversion in August 2023. So far I have ridden close to 5,000 miles after the conversion, and just completed a 500 mile run from Laconia NH to NJ last Friday. Very comfortable and stable, even during severe weather conditions. As most have said fit and finish are top notch. Steering is easy and precise. I am enjoying the ride and have two more road trips planned for this summer.

I did the CSC conversion along with ironhorse54. I’ve stated a number of times that I like the trike more each time I ride it. I’m actually looking forward to trying it out in the rain since all my clothes will be in the LARGE TRUNK space! Ironhorse54 and I will be heading to FL in a couple weeks.
