Well, I've been reading for a few weeks and looking at lots of pics in my decision for a trike in my future. This board is a wonderful place.

I don't really care for the Tupperware look of the Goldwings. I wanna see a MOTOR in my Cycle. I don't see a lot of cross country riding in my future. 100 miles one way works for me. Don't need all the plush.

I'm thinking water cooled is the only way. Even the Harley riders complain. Harleys are wonderful bikes BUT, I know the value of the dollar and never had the need to buy Brand to be seen with.....SOOOOO

That leaves Yamaha, Suki and Kaw. Bang for the buck.

Not much to pic from here. Suzuki C50 is too small. I have one. C90 not much better and not water cooled.

These are my choices.

Haven't seen too much offered in Kaw but am looking.

That brings me to Yamaha. Seems to be some nice bikes out there.

Researching.

Re: What brand of bike? Yamaha venture

I love the yamaha venture trike that I have. 1300cc 2000 two tone red. Alot of motor showing and alot of chrome. Very smooth ride and with a pair of cobra pipes it sound like a street rod. Very nice rumble.

Not sure what you like, but you could check out one of our trikes. Can really see the motor and due to the distance of the engine, you won't have to deal with it burning you up. Just check out the pictures posted up here on TrikeTalk or give our website a visit.

I do wish you luck on looking for the trike that suits your needs!

Another vote for the RSV!! 1300cc water cooled shaft drive rolling barcoloungers that can go for 200000 miles or more without a major overhaul!

Jhennan, why aren't you a member of venturerider.org?? You're the first RSV owner I've seen here that isn't! We are also a great bunch of people over there as well, and there is a ton of info available as well!!
