I grew up in the south listening to a variety of music, most of which was Southern Rock. Here is one of my favorites. John Fogerty of Creedence Clearwater Revival.

If I may ask, what station in Wickenburg are you listening to?Presently, silence and the occasional refrigerator running and the clock on the wall ticking.
I have a music station saved on the computer from Wickenburg Arizona that is good country music.
Zammy - I'm right there with you! I learned to play trumpet starting in 4th grade in the mid '70's in our small rural school. Our band teacher, Mr Fly had been teaching there since the early 1950's and had played with Benny Goodman and other Swing Big Bands, so the repertoire of music we played was a lot of that sound from the day. It's been years since I last played though.I enjoy just about anything except that rapcrap, I'm a retired musician and love jazz and Big Band, but I still listen to some of the older heavy metal stuff, Black Sabbath, Edgar Winter, Gun's n Roses, etc.
I'm a big Willy's Roadhouse guy on Sirius.96.3 Arizona's Real Country.
