Oil migrating from the Trans to the Primary...

I got there at 9am and i was out by 11am, Rode over to my club for a quick look see, And now i'm back home... Nice ride home, Outside of a few detours they're still cutting trees off of the electric lines, But going up there it rained all the way..

Back to the trans, They aren't too optimistic that the fix will work...:Shrug:

Not all are having the same migration rate and or problem, I sure hope HD gets this fixed once and for all before too many lose faith in them

They the dealer said there seeing it in Not just Tri-Glides but other two wheelers with the M8..

Inside the apartment, its looked threatening all day and so I didn't venture out. At about 6:00pm mountain time the bottom came out of the clouds with a barrage of hail stones, rain, thunder and lightening. I don’t know , HD needs to admit that 1/2 ass water aint gona help. If more cc’s are gona be produced then a full water jacket is needed. Pride is one thing reality is another. Heat will damage/melt stuff . Wake up willie !!

The rain, hail and the whole weather system went through here and for some reason I felt the presence of a 'Rainbow', took my phone outside and did find a rainbow. I believe it was a double when I looked up. I have a $40.00 cheap smart phone and so it takes okay pics.

I believe warranty issues will hurt before change. If not reliable , sales will not improve. It was bad enough that they fought the reputation of oil leaks for decades, Now the heat issue has evolved.

The oil migration issue, is that due to seal failure ? Or heat destroying the seal ? Or ?

Thats the 64 thousand dollar question, Know one knows, Least of all Harley...

**Just an after thought....Maybe Harley knows why its happing...And a recall or worst a reengineering is needed...
