Right now I'm at my club feeding corn to the deer and relaxing after skiding

out a half dozen trees i have more lined up for tomorrow' But it looks like it's going to be a washout rain and temperatures actually in the 30's' after it was 75+ today

Thank you all. It's great to have my own place, I cannot believe that I'm in a nice place and have peace and quiet. The camper is nice and I gave it to my friends. It's great to not have to 'Rough it', I have a 'Real' bathroom and kitchen. Felt great to take a shower in an actual shower.

Had a walk over to Dollar Tree and bought some groceries, everything is within walking distance. :clapping:

Its wonderful, I go to bed at a normal hour and get up early. I eat meals on time and wash dishes for one person, take a walk into town and come home. Never had been in a Shopko before and they have nice stuff, no Wally world here in Lovington, Ebay will be another source for stuff, there's also a Dollar Tree :clapping:.

My friends gave me their queen size Ikea bed-frame and they managed to lose 90% of the hardware, its a shame its a nice unfinished pine that I want to finish off in 'Golden Oak' stain. They're good at losing stuff and they may or may not find something misplaced for weeks.

Ah! the quiet its wonderful. :yahoo: No more tumbleweeds :tumbleweed:

Thank you, the bed is the Tarva series in queen size. The wood is all there. I requested an Ikea catalog to order furniture for my apartment and one thing I found on line is pine that can be finished in the color I prefer. UPS will be making many trips to the apartment complex as I slowly furnish it. :clapping:

Val, Well, if I had read the thread I would of know that you were living somewhere else. The desert is nice, just wish you would of had a better experience. Lovington is a small nice town. We have considered moving to Roswell, only issue the nearest VA hospital is in Albquerque. I am happy that you are settling in.

Still recovering from my drive out to Long-Gallon NY.......People living out there have to feel like gold fish trapped in a bowl ...Only way out of in is though the big city...

But relief is on its way once the bridge across the sound to Connecticut is finished....

Havent been to LI since Bridgehampton closed, so I thought they might of started the Andrew Cuomo stage :Shrug:

As far as patience gos i never had any when i was young , And i don't have any now that i am ripe....

Just to show how inpatient i am, Last week my Cardiologist told me i only have six more months to live what with how bad my hart is.. I just looked him in the eye and said, Don't worry Doc i can do it in three months easy...ThumbUp

I probably would have stayed in Deming if the senior apartments didn't have long waiting lists and rehabing the camper to make it acceptable to the RV parks was expensive and so I gave it to Tom & Ruth.

It's windy here also, but no dust or :tumbleweed: blowing around. Everything is within walking distance and that's great. It's hard to believe that I've been here a week, I moved in on the 11th and slowly putting stuff up. Got a table and 4 chairs from a lady who runs a ministry to help seniors with little or nothing. When I get this place finished and looking good, I'll post pics. It's a pretty large efficiency apartment and recently remodeled with all new carpet, cabinets, appliances and wood flooring. :clapping:

Here's some pics of the apartment. The kitchen is really nice and all redone as is the entire apartment. There are no pics of the sleeping area as it is incomplete. The lady from the ministry is going to bring a computer desk, Crockpot and microwave when she returns. This is where I call home.:clapping:

Nope , Tug hill is this weekend, My Son , Wife and Girls went while i was left behind to sit the dogs. They trailer their two side-bys up to the hill.....

Yep Rescheduled........They said they would kennel the mutts, I said no way....:Shrug:

Besides i was supposed to go to a Wedding to day down in South Jersey below the Mason Dixon line.. But we had to cancel. Wifes sister pasted Tuesday and we had to drive out to Long-Gallon so she wasn't in the mood to go to a wedding so soon ..So i was free to sit...
