What are you doing right now

All you warm weather riders make me sick with your "going for a ride" crap. Me, I just finished shoveling snow off my drive. Now I'm waiting for the football game to come on. Well maybe making me sick is a little strong. I guess jealous would be better and more accurate. Yesterday was a little different. I was waiting for the basketball game to come on rather than waiting for the football game.

At a rest area in Va., on 85, just going to take Miles for a walk. Then beat feet for McDonough,Ga.. Load in the morning, delivery winds up in Ft.Pierce,Fl.! I'll bounce home and get ready for the "SnowBird Party" in Daytona.....yualll come down ya hear :D:party:

Hey Roadking2, I'm jealous of you northerners also since you don't have to cut the grass all winter long and can enjoy all that beautiful white snow. LOL . Take a break and come down for Daytona Bike Week coming up.

Just arrived home from my "boys weekend" with my buddies I used to work with at Chrysler Corp. We've been going up to my buddies cottage in Mio Mi. ever since we were given Martin Luther King weekend off from work. We go up on Thursday and come back home on Monday. I came home early to be able to take my wife to an important Dr.s appointment on Monday morning.

Enjoy white snow? Not since I was a kid and went sledding. As an adult all it does is give you something to slip and fall on or break your back shoveling. It's OK to look at, but that's about it. Get out into it, and unless you enjoy skiing or something like that, it sucks. Even if you enjoy winter sports, you still have to drive there to do it and driving on snow and ice is a pain. Let's not forget the kind of temperatures that go along with it. Not to bad today. The thermometer on my deck says 22. Todays paper says the forecast is for a balmy high of 8 on Tuesday. Before I retired, I had to go to Costa Mesa Ca. for work every January for a couple of weeks. My wife always hated me for that. Then in Feb, I always had to go to a week long conference that was in San Francisco one year, LA a couple of times, and Palm Springs once. Heck, once the conference was at Disneyland and I stayed right there at the park and got free rides in the evenings. The conference was always at a warm weather site. She wasn't to fond of those trips either. I always got her a really nice present to give her when I got back home to smooth things over. Broncos just scored again! Gotta go.

Man I miss my Big Green Egg....

Same here Rich. Was a time when couldn't get me to go to sleep before 1am now hard to stay in bed past 3. So peaceful and quite and the World is so at ease before it wakes up.

Sitting here in the calm doing the morning routine. Let the Dogs out at 6:30 for a half. Then wake the Family at 7:15. Leave for Church at 8:30. Cracker Barrel afterward for Biscuits and Gravy with side of sausage and of course and Apple Dumpling for dessert. Then back Home, change, let the Dogs out again. Then retire to the Recliner for the NFL Conference Finals (GO Broncos). May work on the fine-tune of scope zero on the A Bolt during Half Times. Then clean it. Then can feel somewhat "productive" on an otherwise wonderfully lazy day.

Zook. Stop procrastinatin' and get to painting. Lazy Bum :D Maybe Trent will share some Reserve to speed the process along and free your Mind a tad.

Mike, like my Egg cooked Filets medium rare about 1&3/4" thick please. See you around 4'ish ? ;)

Dano, good luck in your decision. Have Mike bring you by a Filet and Demo his Gen II. Nice ride and full belly will help big time. Don't keep him too long as he needs to be here by second half of second game.
Pegasus, wishing you a quick recovery and plenty of tissues.
Leo, good luck with your training. Admire your dedication ;)

Time to move along with the Routine and fix another Earl Grey. Fantastic day to all whatever you are doing wherever you are doing it at. ThumbUp

P.s. One of the best Parts of my Morning Routine is reading you all sharing yourselves and your Lives. Really Cool. For that,,, Thanks.

I'm looking forward to many good cooks on the egg. I ran out to Sam's club and stocked up on some butts and ribs. I'm looking forward to not having to wake at 3am to start a long cook once I learn the egg. I bought a DigiQ which should make for a nice restfull sleep while a butt or a brisket runs, I'm a BBQ junkie and a pretty decent cook.

thanks msocko3, you prolly just gave me the push i needed.....hannigan does look like the best choice....really like the looks of the gen 2....we are going to be riding the mountains (blue ridge parkway) alot & need the extra width being more of a stable ride & also looking forward to a trip to sturgis is on my bucket list.....

It'll be just the ticket for riding the blue ridge and a long trip to Sturgis. My dad and I are heading to Sturgis again this year, just not going during the ralley. I like to enjoy the Black Hills without all the crowds, lots of good riding in that area.

Low & Slow. It's all in the Dampers with the Egg. Used to remove the top and put the lower on about 1/4 to 1/2" cracked and let her rock at 300-325. Cooked Ribs, Rack of Lamb, Meatloaf, whole Turkey, HUGE Filets, to Burgers and Brats. Wonderful Contraption. Those remote Probe Thermos make it Bullet-Proof.
You're going to love it.

Shoveling and plowing snow again -- hopefully for the last time this winter, heading to Florida Thursday morning. pepper

Getting coffeed up then its outside to replace some warped boards on the wood privacy fence.

Sucking coffee and wishing I could look at the members map and see if there is any members in the northern suburbs of Detroit where we will be this weekend...

That sounds like work, I'm doing my favorite thing. Sitting in my recliner by the fire and having my morning coffee. I rolled into bed a little after 6 this morning and woke up at 9:30 to greet the day, thankfully I've finished the night shift now I'm off until I start days on Friday.

Breakfast, morning coffee, lots of it, getting my morning triketalk dose. Wife left for work, asking me what I was gonna do all day. I said "nothing". She said "you did that all day yesterday". I said, "I know, I'm not finished yet."

I am sitting here at work and trying not to think too much about the next two(2) days until I get to leave for Arkansas to see if I am going to be able to bring back a new to me Honda GL1500. One step closer to the trike! YAY!!! It has been a loooong 16 years without a bike and I am really excited to get back on.

Just put my gear on the top of the AGA (cooker) just to warm it up Ready for a ride out on my new TG pepper

How sturdy is the bottom of the hannigan gen 2 conversion kits ? just by looking at the pics, it looks kinda flimsy lookin'....also have they got a bumper for those yet.....just wandering as i'm looking at either a hannigan or motor trike for a 2013 goldwing...haven't seen the gen 2 up close (in person) yet, just from their web site

Just got off the phone with hospital preadmissions folks. Have to be there at 5:30 tomorrow morning. By noon I'll have a new left knee... JOY!! :xszpv: :xszpv:

Well in that case I'll just hire some Russian dude to hack into your computer, turn your camera on and see what it is you are doing. Maybe I'll record it and post it on YouTube. :D

Just browsing the forums. Stayed home today after taking a fall on the ice trying to bring the garbage totter out to the street. Kinda screwed up my back and elbow. One heck of a way to get a little time off from work,,,. pfffttttt. :cxtv:

Sitting on the deck in the afternoon sun wearing just a pair of shorts, and counting the yachts moored in the harbour here - looks like about 60 of all shapes and sizes. On a small island in the Bahamas (Elbow Key) for a month before heading back to the snow to prepare to trail the trike down to St Augustine Beach in Florida for the rest of the winter. What else would a couple of old folks with time on their hands be doing? :wave4:

They are pretty beefy, I haven't seen a bumper for them. I've been quite happy with my GEN2, if it wasn't tucked away for the winter I'd take pictures of anything you want.

The doc wanted to put one of the new "High Performance" joints in but it didn't come with zert fittings so I opted to just stay with the titanium and plastic version. Rake --- hummmm... I wonder if that would help getting in and out of my recliner????? :xszpv: :xszpv:
