Hey just thought I would drop a note to say I stopped thinking and went for it, sent my ECU to Ivan and had it flashed. I have pondered this for a year and decided befor riding season it was going to happen. I have read I think every post on this being done and have yet to find a negative post. So its out for reprograming.

I hope it gives all the benfits everyone says I want my MPG back I want this thing to run cooler and look forward to more power and lower end torque. Kawasaki has missed the boat on this but understand Govmt EPA and they have to make them this way, I cant wait to et it back and see what happens, others say order seat belts so we will see.

Its funny as last wk got her out and rode 80 miles and over the wk end got 12" snow crazy Iowa weather. I will post back and report what changes I see.

Install

Got it back and put it in, cold as all get out here and now more snow again lol, install was easy and did just what Ivan said it would do. install turn key on and throws error code shut key off un hook negative battery cable for five seconds and hook back up then start and good to go. went for a short two mile ride and right from the start can tell it had more power and lost the herky jerky throttle response and as far as mileage and heat wont be able to tell until it gets warm and can ride. I think it has more snap and more low end power. as far as I am concerned its a win deal its far cheaper then a power controller, as Ivan explains you already have a computer and then hook another one up and it will fight each other.

information look up Ivans Performance Products. it has the specs of what he can do for you as well as dyno charts showing his work on your ECU.

Keep your bike upright and ride on!!!
