2010 tri glide pulled both forks off to replace seals went by instruction , can't get the tube out ,pulled bolt off on bottom which come completely loose but won't come out , tried heat on outside of tube, no luck , and yes took the ring out ,now I have the seal all goofed up and now the shaft won't act like a slide hammer it won't move , the other fork has a allen bolt on bottom that has to come out , problem with that one its striped now there's no way of getting it out so meaning no way to get the tube out , so far i'm down to maybe have to buy a complete set of forks . anyone know where i might find a set ,this really sucks , looking on line seems alot of people had this problem but tried all there methods nothing, not sure what to do now and i'm not made of money

Wayne, take them to a motorcycle shop for repair. Unless you replace them, they can be repaired by someone experienced a lot cheaper than they can be replaced for.

If you can't fix them , I have a set of lowers & internals I just removed for chrome & Axxion . Off my 16 Tri

On the one that is stripped im guessing you mean the allen head is stripped.I have had this happen before i drill the head off the bolt then once apart remove remaining bolt with vice grips. The other bolt will require a little work,on the end of the dampner tube there is an aluminum cup with threads in the end, sounds like it is spinning and wont allow the bolt to come out. Is it on the pinch bolt side or the shifter side of the bike? You may be able to take a small die grinder and cut the bolt off removing the head to allow the removal of the tube. Good luck with a little work you should be back in buisness,no need to buy new fork tubes.
